Texas Pool News
Reservations Update
June 08, 2020
We have good news! With Gov. Greg Abbott expanding the state-mandated capacity requirements to 50%, we no longer think we will need a reservation system to stay within the allowed capacity. Members are welcome to visit at any time without making a reservation. Daily guest access may be limited to give members priority access to the pool.
Throughout the day, we will have sanitation stations available for you to spray down surfaces (tables/chairs). We will also have standard cleaning time blocks Tuesday-Saturday @ 2 p.m. & 5 p.m. and Sunday @ 3 p.m. to clean and sanitize high traffic areas. You are welcome to stay at the pool but swimmers will be asked to leave the water during those blocks to allow lifeguards time to clean.

Now Hiring Texas Pool Lifeguards
Now accepting applications and interviewing candidates for our 2020 Head Guard, Lifeguard Team, and Jr. Lifeguard positions. Texas Pool Lifeguard pay is competitive. Lifeguards share a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and to teach others, strong decision making skills, leadership qualities, and an interest in serving the public at a historic landmark pool. Texas Pool Lifeguards are ambassadors for the pool itself, interacting with the public and saving lives when necessary.
