Welcome to The Texas Pool in Plano, TX

The Texas Pool on the Creek is a members-only community swim club shaped like the state of Texas. Membership is open to the public, you are not required to live in the neighborhood or even in Plano to join. The Texas Pool is a non-profit organization that is operated by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our mission is to provide a family-centric, positive atmosphere for Members to enjoy for generations. Established in 1961, the Texas Pool has provided lasting memories for over 50 years.

Memorial Day Celebration 12p-6p

Open to the public. Everyone swims for FREE!
Celebrate freedom with us and honor our service men and women. At 3pm, join us for a moment of silence in honoring America's Fallen Heroes.
Participate in the water games and raffle with fabulous prizes including a free Texas Pool Family membership.
Lifeguards are always on duty to keep you safe. You can bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks or purchase snacks and drinks on site.

Swim Lessons Start 9:30a - 10:15a

Swim lessons will be two weeks on June 11-15 and June 18-21.
During these 45 minute lessons, instructors will focus on each students individual skill level. $75 for 2 weeks of lessons.

Family Hot Dog Night 5p-7p

Members join us for our 1st Annual Family Hot Dog Night at The Texas Pool.
Get to know other members, Directors and your lifeguards. Hot dogs will be on the grill.
It will be potluck style so please bring appetizers and desserts to share.

Homeschool Day

Beginning June 14th, every other Friday is Homeschool Day at the Texas Pool throughout the Summer.
Open to non-members from 11-8PM, $4/Person, max $20/Family.
Other Homeschool Swim Days are June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9 and August 23.

Water Safety Presentation 2p-4p

The Texas Pool has partnered with Lone Star Lifesavers for a water safety presentation.
This safety fair will include safety demonstrations, mock drownings, games for kids, and the opportunity to connect with local water safety representatives. Event is open to the public. $5 each for non-members.

World's Largest Swimming Lesson 10a-11a

The Texas Pool has partnered with USA Swimming and Lone Star Lifesavers for the World's Largest Swimming Lesson.
On June 18th, waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe will host lessons simultaneously at 10am(central) in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the fourth time! The lesson will focus on the importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning.
Event is open to the public for FREE. Lesson will be over at 11am but you can stay and swim afterwards for $5 each for non-members.

Movie Night at sunset - How to Train Your Dragon

Gates open at 8:30pm and the movie will start when the sun sets. Enjoy swimming at night while watching the movie.
Lifeguards are always on duty to keep you safe. You can bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks or purchase snacks and drinks on site.
Event is open to the public. $2 for members. $5 for non-members (guest cards will not be allowed).

Lifeguard Reunion 6p - 8p

Calling all past lifeguards at The Texas Pool. Enjoy a private party at the Pool and see all the changes.

Independence Day Celebration 12p-6p

Open to the public. Members are free, $5 for non-members. Come swim and join in the cannonball contest, water games and hot dogs on the grill!
Lifeguards are always on duty to keep you safe. You can bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks or purchase snacks and drinks on site.
We will be at the Plano parade in the morning, please look for our float and free passes.

Movie Night at sunset - Tangled

Gates open at 8:30pm and movie starts at sunset. Enjoy swimming at night while watching the movie.
Lifeguards are always on duty. Bring food and non-alcoholic drinks or purchase from the snack shack.
You're welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and float rafts.
Event is open to the public. $2 for members. $5 for non-members (guest cards will not be allowed).

Labor Day - End of Summer Party

Open to the public. Members are free, $5 for non-members. Come swim and join in the cannonball contest and water games!

The grills will be fired up so you can cook your own food. You are welcome to bring in your own lawn chairs, space fills up quickly.
