Everyone Swims Free (Okay, maybe not...)i

Please come help us clean up after the vandalism that has occurred at the Texas Pool. We have need of a general clean-up, removal of brush, debris, and trash from the water and grounds. In addition, we'll need help scooping leaves from the bottom of the pool, and with assisting in basic repair work to pool tiles and around the wooden deck. Wear boots or stout shoes and gloves. Bring your hammer, crowbar, trash bags and cleaning supplies. Join your 2012 Texas Pool BOD Squad, with family, neighbors and friends to help make a difference in the Texas Pool and in your community. Thank you for your support and I'll look for y'all at the Texas Pool on Saturday!

Annual Polar Bear Plunge / Chili Cook-off

Sunday, March 25th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Once again, it's time for the Annual Polar Bear Plunge and Chili Cook-off. Our first Open Swim event of the year!
$5/person or $20/family
After pretending you're an ice-cube by braving the frigid waters of the pool, you can warm yourself up by judging our Chili Cook-off. Think you got some good chili? Then come show us what you got! There are prizes for the best chili as judged by our chilly swimmers.

1st Prize: $100 discount on a 2012 Texas Pool Membership
2nd Prize: $50 Guest Card
3rd Prize: $25 Guest Card

If you have any raffle items you would like to donate to the pool, let us know! We'll holding a raffle to benefit the pool and help fund annual repairs, and darn near anything can help!
